The $48,000 Question: Why Your Leads Aren’t Converting
A client once hired me to audit their current sales process and offer suggestion on how he could improve.
He was a business coach who was amazing at bringing in leads through social media and ads but couldn’t seem to figure out why they weren’t converting.
As we looked at the leads one by one to see their activity something stood out.
A lot of leads on his email list were clicking on EVERYTHING.
YouTube videos.
Blog post.
Even his offers.
But no one actually bought anything.
My client was frustrated by this and was waiting for me to tell him the secret to getting these leads to convert.
I didn’t have a reason but I knew who would.
The lead.
I told him to pick up the phone and simply say
“I noticed you have been engaging a lot in my email list and it seems you’re searching for something. What problem are you looking to solve”
Turns out he was looking for exactly what my client does but just didn’t know he offered that solution.
It just wasn’t clear to the leads.
As a result my client offered to help and landing a new client who would pay $48,000 over the course of the next year.
Sometimes the answer to “fixing” a high ticket enrollment system isn’t some hack.
It lies in just being curious and interested in the people you’re trying to help.
